Dear colleague,
We gladly invite you to the seminar on Professional Learning Community (PLC) on an Inclusive Intercultural Classroom on Tuesday 29th of August.
During the seminar, we would like to present to you the outcomes of the first step in this teacher development project as well as the interventions of the participating lecturers. Lecturers joining the second iteration of the project (starting August 2017), will briefly introduce upcoming interventions. The seminar will close with the offering of the first copies of the research report to Ms. Mira Ruiken (Dean of RBS) and Mr. Ron Bormans (Chair of the Executive Board of RUAS).
Professional Learning Community
How to attain inclusive higher education is a burning question within Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Rotterdam Business School, known for its interculturally diverse student and lecturer population, is the ideal context for experimenting with new approaches to come to an inclusive intercultural and international classroom.
That is why Professional Learning Communities on this theme were initiated, in which RBS lecturers joined in learning, designing, implementing and researching interventions to attain inclusion.
